Selling the truck.....

Well, I'm selling my CTS and decided to sell the truck too, combine the monies and get a new vehicle. If you know anyone in the market for a nice used truck, let them know. It's posted on craigslist: 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 Extended Cab LT 1500

Not sure if I will get another new truck or a very small fuel efficient car. Decisions.......

If you were explorative enough to come to my blog and see more pics of my truck then I have a better offer for you:

I have a new set of brand new, sparkly, take-off stock GM wheels and Goodyear tires in 17 inch size. Whoever offers me full price or close, I'll throw these in--if you ask!!!

This has been a very nice truck and aside form the new trans in January, it has been very cheap to operate.

If I have any complaints about this truck it's only:

1. The damn clunk steering issue prevalent in almost all of GM's late model trucks and even cars of theirs. You can feel it and hear it. I replaced the intermediate shaft, but it comes back. Makes the steering feel like crap.
2. Cold start knock on all of the gen3 engines. This crap started at around 45K. It sounds like a diesel at first and then goes away within a minute. Very annoying, but I guess it has not been an issue reliability-wise. She doesn't burn any oil and is a smooth running and strong engine, so oh well; what can you do?  I had brought it in  for warranty, but they denied me stating there was no issue and it would not cause issues. I guess they were correct since it has been 150K + trouble-free miles, but still.... people don't like knocking sounds when starting their car.
3. Bad fuel level sensors. This causes the giant low fuel message in the corner. I replaced this in November and decided to do the fuel pump and sending unit too since I was in the fuel tank already. It is nice to not have that damn message on all of the time now.

Well here's the other pics:
